The Mentone Area Preservation Association
The Mentone Area Preservation Association (MAPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1982, MAPA 's mission is to preserve and protect the heritage, natural environment, and other unique qualities of life in the Mentone area.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Sponsor for one or both of MAPA's annual arts & crafts festivals.
Financially, sponsors are crucial in helping us to help support our annual festivals so that can continue to fulfill our mission. We are excited to have you be part of our continued success. MAPA’s funding primarily comes from our two annual festivals, October's Colorfest and May's Rhododendron Festival, through vendor fees and festival sponsorship. In addition, MAPA is supported by membership dues and Groundhog advertising. MAPA is grateful to have the opportunity to continue to publish The Groundhog.
This is your opportunity to partner with MAPA in financially supporting organizations that contribute to our community's needs. In the past year, MAPA has given financial grants to local charitable causes and organizations who are committed to the environment, education, emergency services, and nutrition programs. Sponsors are publicly recognized with sincere appreciation in The Groundhog, on social media, and in festival brochures. Your contribution will help make a difference in Mentone!
